Hatima Khanya Drive

Hatima Khanya Drive (meaning ‘shine’ in Tsonga, Nguni, Zulu, Xhosa & Ndebele) strives to provide young girls in Africa with reusable sanitary products, ensuring menstruation doesn’t hinder their education. It is estimated that one-third of these girls miss school during their menstrual cycle if they have no products - an absence that significantly hampers their education and prospects.

In partnership with Nourish Eco-Village, these reusable packs are made by the community for the community. All it takes is R280 (US$15) per care pack.
