The accommodation landscape has changed considerably since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out. People have been reminded of the value of quality time with family and friends and are opting to go on holiday together. A trend has emerged where globally, guests are seeking out ‘exclusive-use properties’ that they can ‘own’ for the duration of their stay. In line with this, at MORE Family Collection we have expanded our luxury group of award-winning hotels and lodges to include our Residences Portfolio. These private homes, in sought-after South African destinations, offer you the opportunity to book your own ‘home for the holidays’, where it’s all about spending precious time with your family or friends and making unforgettable memories together.
“For our Residences portfolio, we’ve handpicked properties for their location and the unique experiences they offer,” says MORE Family Collection CEO Robert More. “My family and I have been enriched by our travels throughout South Africa and enjoyed private accommodation, where we could enjoy quality time together. Wanting to share this experience, and in line with global trends, we are very excited about our growing luxury private Residences portfolio.” “All our Residences uphold the MORE Family Collection hallmarks of life-enriching experiences, personalised, attentive service, and authenticity. So much more than a just place to stay; these are real homes where you can kick back and enjoy comfort and privacy, while immersing yourself in your surroundings.”
The MORE Residences portfolio includes properties in the Western Cape, Sabi Sand and the Kruger National Park, all spectacular and highly sought-after locations. Five residences have been handpicked as part of our portfolio, with another two in development for early 2023. The Residences all have their unique perks with a dedicated housekeeper and houseman, or even a dedicated field team, and the option of personal chefs on request. Children are welcome at all our Residences.
