Oscommerce - or online shopping - sites are becoming more popular in South Africa, the main issues around online shopping in SA is security; users are nervous of inserting card details. We make sure all of the neccesary security settings are implemented on our server, and the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate is in place, as per the latest guidelines on the subject.
In order for you to be enabled to take web payments, you will have to find an Internet Payment Merchant for the service, and you (we cannot do this bit for you) have to set up a merchent account with a service provider. We can provide you with details of our recommended internet payment service providers on request.
Todays online shopping cart sites are pretty straight forward to edit and update, via a back end control panel which we give you full access to; here you can change prices, add products and process orders.
